AEW World Championship Timeline - A Visual Article.

Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley and MJF as AEW Champions

Hello and welcome to this visual article showing the history of the AEW Men's World Champions. We look in visual detail at how the belt has travelled from Chris Jericho to today's current iteration of Jon Moxley.

In the Bar Chart Race above you will see how long each man held AEW's top belt chronologically from its inception five years ago until today. This chart also highlights how long some champions held the belt in contrast to others.

AEW World Championship Timeline - Whole Picture

This is exactly the same as the previous graph in terms of data but the Line Chart Race format provides the perspective of seeing where in AEW chronology each man entered the picture in terms of the World Championship.

AEW World Championship Timeline - Lineage

AEW World Championship Lineage

This Gantt Chart shows you in a simpler static form the timeline in which each man held the championship as well as highlighting, more clearly, the two men who have more than one championship reign.

AEW World Championship Timeline - Days Held

Most days as AEW World Champion

This time we are looking purely at total championship reign across all title reigns for each champion. Highlighting title length but also how long cumulatively each man has been at the top.

AEW World Championship Timeline - Defences

Most defences as AEW World Champion

This chart is a bit different in that it focusses on each champion's title defences which does not always correlate to cumulative days as champion. This shows how much he man was booked to defend the championship across AEW's history.

Days as AEW World Champion vs Title Defences

Finally, this Scatter Plot highlights the differences in how champions were presented by showing how often they defended their championship in comparison to how long they were the champion. Wrestlers above the line defended their championship more often in relation to how long they were actually champion compared to those under the line.
